Type of a scam Debt Collections

This company contacted myself and my wife stating they had a fraud case against me. They called from(216)255-9415. A woman named "Montana" left a message. She had a very old address a and claimed I owed $980 and change. She then claimed if I didn’t pay this it would be forwarded to the Florida DA’s office. I told her if she wants money I want a official letter or statement reguarding the matter. She then said, I was going to be "search and siezured". Being a Public Safety officer I knew this was Not legal to threaten me. I responded by telling her to do what she had to do. I check my credit regularly and have no record of this anywhere. They contacted my wife but she did not answer.
