Caller identified himself as Dave Sayers from Publishers Clearing House with a $2.5 M check for me. Gave me a check number and asked me to hold. I hung up and he called back. When he asked why I told him I had heard Dave Sayers voice on video and he was not Dave. He hung up. He didn’t ask for anything because I didn’t give him the opportunity.

Total money lost $12,369.10

Type of a scam Sweepstakes/Lottery/Prizes

Mary Johnson called me said I won 2.5 million dollars from PCH and had me take in a total $9,369.10 from my cash advance charge card. They had a dummy account that would pay off my credit card so I could take out more and 4 day later it would post back to my credit card with fees and interest. First $3,800 was to pay for the clearance fees paid by sponsors, then when that amount was paid to Bank of America with a certified check that I couldn’t get from my bank and $800 to a Jerome Maurice Pinnock by western union in Jamaica they said Bank of America sent it back because the $3,000 money order wasn’t from my bank my bank was down that day. I should have taken that as a warning from God but the thought of winning that money I guess drove me to stupidity. Long story, then took $3,000 out of my personal accounts paid out more money orders and sent wire transactions to Jamaica and Netherlands and now I am out almost $13,000. Have more names all the text and emails they sent me. Don’t want anyone else to be caught up in this scam, sick and so mad at myself for falling for this scam. Just don’t want anyone else to be scammed. Wish they could be caught.
