Do not feel guilty I fell for the same scam. I was desperate looking for additional income when this email came from Amanda Farr claiming the same things $2200 plus $30 per package. Should know better when something to good to be true it usually is. I am going to my police department to report the scam.

I fell for the same thing from Amanda Farr and did 20 packages then realized it’s a scam I have saved all emails and should police knock on my door for theft I have emails to show them. I reported this to the FBI but never got a response from them so I feel I’m covered if I can’t get help to stop a theft ring.. then don’t blame me for a scam because I’m just trying to work not meaning to steal from anyone.. I believe what they are doing is using people’s stolen credit card info purchasing items send it to me then I forward it to whom ever.. but I’m no thief and when I realize Ltd what was happening I started calling Placidity Insurance but never could get an answer and then questioned Amanda Farr and I believe she knew I figured out the scam and she stopped sending packages but I still kept all my emails from her to cover my own [censored] I suggest you all do the same..!

Smart thinking Prentice, I did the same just in case the FBI came knocking on my door. Something told me this was too good to be true but I needed the money and since I did not provide my SSAN or bank account I was fine. I am going to my police department to make a report. Keep us updated to your situation.

Hello, I have also been in contact with a woman named Amanda Farr, through email. I was promised $2200 plus $30 per package that I successfully ship out. I have done over 20 packages. She said that once my trial period is over I will receive a check by mail. After insisting that she can do a wire transfer, I decline. I was supposed to receive the check Feb 24, and now she is not replying to any of my emails. Can someone please assist me with this? I do not want have an illegal actions on my side. Please help.

The same Amanda Farr person is who I have been emailing for about 2 weeks now. She has sent one package that I reshipped last week and there are now 2 more currently in route, I am a single mother trying to make extra income, but NOT by illegally scamming my fellow humans! So now, I have been reading all kinds of horror story’s about people actually not only being scammed into using their own money to purchase items, never to be reimbursed, but also, being prosecuted?! I do not know what to do at all! Do i refuse any new packages? Do i contact the BBB? My local authorities? I do not want to have to be worried about going to jail over taking a job where I am being scammed. Advice! Please!

Amanda Farr sent new an email telling me about the job, they asked me for basic info… my name, & my address for the packages to be sent to. Then I awaited the first package to be delivered. They want me to receive packages to my home  open them make a report on the integrity of the package then send it back using a prepaid label to their “warehouse.”

I received an email offering a at home job offer to check the quality of packages and send them to the address given. I tried calling their number and it just beeps. They said they’ve done a background check on me but I’ve never given them my SSN. I checked CareerBuilder’s job offers and I don’t see that company anywhere.
