Type of a scam Employment
I was contacted via email regarding a job opportunity. I replied back indicating I had a job and wasn’t looking. I got another email asking for me to go to a website to schedule a call back. I replied again stating I wasn’t interested. I got another email stating my credit was an issue in getting the job and I needed to contact one of their credit counselors.
I sent them a response advising I hadn’t given them permission to run a credit report, I wasn’t interested in the job and I was going to report them to the BBB.
I got another response asking if a credit counselor had reached out to me.

Thank you for reaching out to me. I started a new job last month and I’m no longer looking. I wish you the best of luck in your candidate search.
