Type of a scam Online Purchase

Company has website advertising cellphone cases and accessories, I purchased one as an xmas gift for my daughter. I order the gift two weeks prior to xmas here it is almost Jan and I have not received the item nor have I received a refund. The number that is provided in the email is bogus and says that it is disconnected. The person that has been responding to me has a regular gmail account and seems not to even care about the fact that this was a gift for my daughter and I’m out of the money as well as the gift. This person may have my credit card information as well. I do not trust this and I am outraged that such a company exists.
