Type of a scam Online Purchase

I purchased a wig from his site on JULY 7th. His website says it takes 8-10 days for orders to be shipped. I currently have fried hair and am letting it grow out and in meantime wanted to invest in a good wig. I just wanted HAIR to feel good about myself, also for filming and gen beauty on the 28th. I messaged him and asked if it would be here before the 28th because I DIDNT MIND going out and having a back up plan if the one I ordered didn’t come in time. (I have screen shots of this convo too if he wants to suggest I was looking to just "borrow" a wig for the weekend) . He reassured me YES it would be there in time. Time goes on and I hear nothing from him, I DM him asking if item has been shipped and I did not mind coming to him to pick it up because I am in LA area as well. He told me it would be shipped the next day and he would get me a tracking number , of course he never got back to me. The 26th comes around (I leave out of town the 28th) and I ask him for an update, was it shipped? What’s going on? And he tells me he is going to overnight it and will get me tracking number. Surprise , he doesn’t get back to me. I took his word for it and went to my work (where it was being shipped) sat there and waited for it to come. IT NEVER CAME. 6-7pm I ask him what is going on? How I sat there and waited? What’s the tracking number etc… he tells me it wasn’t going to get there until Friday, and he TOLD ME THAT, see screen shots, and that I could meet his assistant somewhere and pick up another wig, then ship back the original wig when I received it. Sounds good cuz I was leaving the next morning and I just wanted hair?? he tells me his assistant will be at the meeting spot in 30 mins… me and my fiancé drive there and wait… 2 HOURS LATER , she shows up and drops off the box with wig.

I didnt know I should really open and look at it in detail before taking it home. Plus it was 10pm at night, at a gas station, we were flying out the next morning. I just wanted to go home and pack. But, that was my fault yes I should’ve looked at it. When we got home I opened it and looked, the wig itself was damp, had some wave but not like the photo and smelled like dye, as if he had just threw together this wig. The lace was cut off all sloppy, and no where on his site it mentions it being pre cut? Whatever! I was just happy to have hair because my real hair is [censored]. The weekend comes and I wear the wig yes, I recurled it because it was straight and went to an event party. The next day when I wore it, people were asking me if the roots were supposed to "look like that" … I didn’t fully look at the roots but under the lights and camera I noticed what they were referring to. I saw no point in messaging him because I was OUT OF TOWN… When we got back in town.. I contacted @philonhair about the piece and how the roots look, it had been 4 days since having the wig. I sent him a picture of it and he BLAMED ME for the roots saying I did something to it…????. My thought was to keep the wig that he originally mailed and send back this one. I mean cmon the roots are terrible ! But of course, he never shipped a wig in the first place, he was lying the whole time. When I asked him about the original "shipped wig" , he told me he couldn’t get me a tracking number because "you can’t track a package that’s been shipped" ITS ON THE RECEIPT @philonhair . Look I’m not trying to scam ANYONE. I wasn’t looking to just borrow a wig and send it back. I just wanted nice hair and to feel beautiful if this was a $60 wig I got off amazon, okay I would understand. BUT THIS IS $1570 of my money that I work hard for. I asked for a new piece and he said no. He said he could fix it but after him giving me the run around for weeks, I didn’t want to put up with it. THIS IS A LOT OF MONEY! Normally I am a pushover but I won’t be this time. Please don’t spend your hard earned money on this guys pieces. Now I’m stuck with this and out a ton. I’m currently trying to fight it on my CC and hoping for the best. Oh and if anyone doesn’t believe me cuz he wants to call me the liar , I HAVE ALL OF THE TEXTS AND MESSAGES TIMESTAMPS EVERYTHING . Why do you have to be a [censored]ty person @philonhair , it’s not nice at all, some of us are nice people who just wanted to feel good about ourselves and you took advantage of that.
