This company came up in a Google search I did for Philips Pulse Oximeters. They came up as the top match. Their website is set up to look like Philips, and initially they also had photos of Philips products. I have screenshots to show that every page of their website is made to impersonate Philips. I purchased two fingertip pulse oximeters using PayPal’s payment platform. I received a confirmation email from [email protected] It wasn’t until about 2 weeks later I noticed an odd withdrawal from my personal bank account from a company with a long Chinese name. It was the purchase I made through PayPal. I contacted PayPal immediately. They were very slow to respond and never answered my questions properly, so there was a lot of long, drawn out back and forth. I showed them that the company using their platform had posed as Philips, that they were listed with two completely different names in the PayPal platform (the main one being onnrons.com) , that they were listed as a clothing company and also saying that I had purchased "hand sanitizer." It has taken weeks of PayPal communication, and they only listen to the fraudulent company and not to the defrauded customer. PayPal’s communications with me have been slow, agonizing, obstructionist, and unhelpful. It is my belief that PayPal does not care about a fraudulent business working on their platform because PayPal collects their fees regardless. Even more than being angry at being defrauded, I’m even angrier that PayPal does not seem to care and continues to allow a fraudulent company to operate on their platform. I’ve even shared correspondence from the REAL Philips USA showing that they are filing a complaint with the FBI cybercrimes unit against onnrons.com for impersonating them (I filed a complaint as well), but PayPal disregards this and defers to the fraudulent seller.

Type of a scam COVID-19

Buyer Beware. This company is in China and so you will be dealing with someone in China concerning cancellations and returns. I chose to buy this oximeter because other online companies were out of stock because of COVID-19 concerns. I tried to cancel the order about 12 hours after placing the order as I grew concerned about having made a mistake. I was told that they were unable to cancel the order because the item had already shipped when in fact it did not ship until 4 days later. I ordered the item on April 21st and it did not arrive until May 22. The tracking history is unbelievable. I contacted the company about returning the item. This is when I learned that I would have to return it to China if I wanted a refund. It would cost $36.45 to ship it with tracking in a USPS Small Flat Rate Box. Obviously it is not worth it for a $30 item.

I ordered a oximeter from this website about 3 weeks ago and never received it. I thought maybe the delivery delayed because of the COVID-19 crisis, but I never got the item.
