Had the same experience today. we paid for a parrot online online on instagram. I was told that the bird was shipped and was sent a tracking number of the carrier. The carries emailed saying I need to pay $1300 dollars to get the bird from the airport. I refused. They called from a google number saying that i need to pay that bird was at Jacksonville airport when email said it had arrived in Tampa. The so called breeder was after me to pay. I told him that if does business with the company he should pay and why I was never informed. The insurance is bought before the animal is transported not when it arrives. Beware of Petsplacedelivery.com its fake. Always ask the breeder which service he uses and never make full payment for the pet.

You inquire about buying a pet, for us it was a cat. They tell you they will ship it with a 50.00 fee and then tell you they need 500.00 for insurance fee to ship the animal. They give you a confirmation, tracking number, proof of receipt and also flight, except the animal does not show. They block you on Facebook and block your number from calling them.
