Type of a scam Online Purchase

I believed I was purchasing a ramp to help my dog get onto the couch and ordered 1 from this very credible looking website, using my credit card. I then emailed them because I was worried it would not hold her weight. I received a reply quickly that same evening. The person replying told me it should hold her weight, as they had a golden retriever and the ramp worked for their dog. I was satisfied and waited a week. I checked their web page each day for some sign of when their products ship. On day 8. I checked the website again, which had been taken down. I emailed the company, using the same email I did the week previously. Whereas I had received a prompt reply the first time, I received no reply this time when I asked when my product would be shipped. I decided to call my credit card company and dispute the charge to which they acted quickly, thank goodness! It does make me uneasy that they now have my personal info including my credit card number. I don’t know if this is a scam or a business that went bad, but they certainly, at the end, felt like they were doing bad business. I did lose money, but the charges were reversed.
