Type of a scam Employment
Used a recruiting website Ziprecruiter.com and received an email from this person Cathie Meyers supposedly from Perficient which I looked up on Internet and believed them to be reputable due to their website. After going back and forth with this Cathie Meyers and requesting a phone number and employment contract had no response just that she would be sending me a check to deposit to my bank account and then repay to vendor for shipping costs of equipment. I quickly came to realize this was a scam and replied to her that I would not be depositing any check etc. I reported to ZipRecruiter.com and they are investigating. Learning from this

Was contacted by "Mrs Patty" of "Perficient" in Charlotte, NC by this number. Was told that I needed to speak with her immediately with regards to almost a dozen positions that "I was being considered for". I was told to send my Gmail to her in order to schedule a Hangout time within the next hour. Could not give me any details on company, positions, or pay.
