Type of a scam Phishing

I applied to PeopleFinder 1821 Q Street, Sacramento, CA 95811 to look up information on a person. After obtaining part of the information, I tried to opt out to keep from getting additional charges. I have tried numerous times, even "recorded phone conversation with their tech support" only to be told request would be honored in a few days. This is over a month, but each time I open up my computer I get an unwanted, unauthorized advertisement from them soliciting their business. They placed some kind of Trojan horse virus sending me to their site. It is so unwanted and unauthorized I promise I would never use their services again. I don’t feel I have to hire a computer tech to delete them from my computer. This an unwanted intrusive way into my computer. I demand they opt out all their solicitation from my computer.
