I have a gut feeling about these people. They called me and said I had malware and other things I can’t remember and said they could take care of it. They got remote control of my two computers, a desk top and a lap top. They were to fix me right up. I paid them $512.00 to defraggle, clean out the virus, etc. I have noticed they call me at least every 2-3 weeks to see how things are going and the phone ID alway says Private caller or not available. So they called me about three days ago and wanted to know when was the last time I used my Computer? I told them I haven’t used it at all. Then he told me someone was trying to hack my computer. Told me I needed SSL and some drivers, what ever that is and he gave me prices. the first was around $500, I said NO. Then he said he could lower some $300, I said NO and he finally lowered it to maybe $240. I told the guy he was supposed to take care of all that with the first $500 I paid. Then He then asked me if I do online banking or pay online. I said yes. Then he asked me if I had an I-phone or I-pad, tablet or even a kindle. After that I told him to call me in about a week to think about it. I felt he knew I wasn’t paying my bills on my desk top or lap top.
