Type of a scam Tech Support

This firm uses pop up ads that look like error messages with an inbound phone number. They describe their services to unsuspecting users that they will scan and update security features when actually they are installing malware and creating problems. Not only did they charge the fee (and now have a credit card number) they access any passwords, online bank account info, etc. When challenged the technician became beligerant claiming that the contract was signed and the service was paid for and the client (a 90 year old gentleman relative) was the only person he would speak with. Then they called back a dozen times after we turned off the wifi. They have no local presence to find on their website.
