Type of a scam Online Purchase
This is a fake auction site that asks people to send a photo of them and their passports. The auction listings are scraped from other sites. The auction bidding functionality is not real. Also, the business name and address used (Don’s Cars) has been reported by the owner to BBB as not associated with this auction site. My guess is because they require bank wires for payment of auctions is that this is what they’re ultimately after – bank wire info or the wire itself.
