Type of a scam Rental

I replied to an ad on Craigslist (https://austin.craigslist.org/vac/d/austin-greatcondoin-small-gated/6997118655….⇄ regarding a sublease of a downtown Austin apartment for a doctor that had recently moved to Orlando, Fl. for a new job is looking for someone to take over his remaining 18 month lease.

After filling out the rental application, I was informed that I had been approved and was sent the sublease agreement.

After all paperwork were completed and signed, I was asked me to wire money to his "landlord" to a Wells Fargo account in Fort Worth and once received he would overnight the keys and additional paperwork to me. I did, and have not heard from him since, even though I were to start moving Nov. 1!

I have all correspondence (e-mail/text) as well as all the signed documents and all the banking info for the "landlord" including wire receipt/bank account#/routing#/wire routing#/account holder address, etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am now out $2800.00!
