Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
A woman named Mary no last name emailed me for an estimate to paint her house she was moving into. I gave her estimate. She then sent me a check for 50% of cost of job with additional $3500.00 which was to go to so called paint supplier. Since they refused to give me their name or any personal info for the contract I refused to deposit the $3500.00 into the so called suppliers account. The check they sent me bounced 2 days later. Good thing I asked questions or I would have been out the $3500.00. BEWARE
