Type of a scam Employment

Another "work at home" job with a promise of benefits and good money of between 33 and 40 dollars an hour with paid vacations and holidays. I was contacted via email after sending in an application to be a data processor and such was given a confirmation code and told to contact a "Christie Judd" via Google Hangouts. Commenced with an "online interview" in which none of my own questions were answered and information was copied and pasted from the website at different intervals in the conversation. I was told that a check would be wired to me for all supplies needed to help with the company and that the supplies would have the company logo on it, as well as an extra 100$ sign on bonus for me. I was also told that I could meet with someone that would end up being my supervisor either in my home or at the company location in Cincinnati, Ohio which ever I preferred. In addition to all of this information, I was also given the tidbit that they are "looking to expand in six months" to a location closer to me and that I would have the opportunity to work from either home or the new office when it was built. While I sincerely hope that I am wrong, I very much believe that this is just another scam preying on people who desperately need jobs.
