Found them on a job website offering a part time packaging inspector position. The ad then let to their own professional looking website where I filled out a job application. I was then able to schedule a telephone interview. Talked to Astrid Ashton on the phone. She then instructed me to download the Telegram app and confirm my references with her. Looked up her business on ScamPulse.com and it turns out there’s plenty of people that are victims like me.

I found this ad listed online for an at-home Packaging Inspector job and when I checked it out it seemed legit, so I applied. I only just found out (after already giving up all of my personal information) that this is a new scam where they ship you illegal/stolen goods to repackage and have their "employee" take the fall for it since it’s under their name. They then use all of the information that you give them as an "employee" to open up credit cards and purchase things in your name.

I applied online on Indeed or craigslist. I was searching for work. I thought I found a great job, but it ended up being a scam. the application was easy. All I had to do was fill in my name, address, phone number, copy of my resume, along with 3 references. Once you filled all that out, there was a section below to just select the interview time in EST. I had a lady call Astrid Ashton. She called me on time and she conducted a short interview. She sounded professional, very nice. Next she started to call my references same day. She even reached out to me when she could not get a hold of one of my contacts. She told me that I needed to download the Telegram app to communicate with her there. Next day I got email saying I need to send several copies of my id. I had to take front and back copies, selfie with holding up id, holding id at 60 degree angle, also a notarized copy of my id. Then next couple of days I got email saying I been approved for the job, Packaging Inspector Position. Then she told me I would be dealing with Brad Keegan, logistics manager. From there, I sent test message to him in the app. He asked me if I had any questions about the job. I asked when I would be able to actually start. He told me that I should receive a package that day or next day. Couple days go by, I got no package. The 3rd day he sends me a tracking number for fedex, well I never ever seen any packages come to my address. Few days ago I started trying to find more information on this company. The address that they list is in a very nice office building, but I could not fine anyone that knew of that company Packbra being there. No one ever heard of that company before. Then I searched on ScamPulse.com and I found that there are 3 other people that experience the same as I did. So I sent message of the package never arriving and quitting this fake job.
