Type of a scam Online Purchase

I purchased a disc from http://www.ebay.com/sch/pacific_trade/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_f…⇄ was home Edition. I did not realize until it arrived which was very fast shipping I’ll give them that, but the disc said on it, that was intended for use with a refurbished pc. I had conversation with them, on the phone.. He kinda skirted around a bit, saying it was like a used car, and warranty gone, along those lines. Was happy to offer a refund.. I felt despite him saying it was few generations down, windows 7 not 10 made what he was doing ok.. I contacted Microsoft.. They didn’t seem to care at first or understand the issue at hand… However, I soon discovered that upon giving them the license key number they claimed it was invalid. There is currently another review suggesting the license sticker is from another used computer. At first after i left a review, he wanted me to remove the review before giving a refund. But suddenly i found the review gone and a refund had taken place anyway. He seems obsessed with having a 100% clean feedback.. there are many it seems cheap sold discs on ebay. And, also with that many complaints about the key numbers not activating and being a scam.. I just thought you ought to know and this company needs looking in to. thanks..
