Type of a scam Healthcare/Medicaid/Medicare

Receiving multiple calls from the above #. Caller ID says 800 Service. I finally called them back to find our what they want. Say they are calling to have people on medicare/Medicaid make a choice of insurance. Told them we have insurance. They said we still need to make a choice through them or they will choose a plan for us. Said they have a list of people who have to make this choice and they would check if we were on the list. Then wanted information to check their list. At that point I told them I would call my insurance company directly and that I thought they were a scam. I called my insurance company and they have no idea who this company is. They took information to notify others that their clients may be being targeted by this company.

Please let those who are on Medicare/Medicaid know they may be receiving this scam call. They were aggressive and almost threatening by saying if we don’t make a decision through them they will decide on a plan for us. Please let others know so they don’t get scammed out of their retirement money.
