Type of a scam Online Purchase

This is a fake internet retailer. I ordered a Breville Toaster oven from them and paid with paypal. It never came. I filed a dispute with PayPal and the seller provided a UPS tracking number. Tracking that number showed that the item was delivered to my city on 7/21/20. (UPS does not tell you to whom or what address items are delivered). After a lot of back and forth with UPS and PayPal, and no response to my emails and calls to the retailer (whose listed email address does not work and who do not answer the phone, and who also did not respond to an email to the address listed with PayPal), I was able to determine that the tracking number provided was for a package sent by a different online retailer, Vineyard Vines, to a different person at a different address in my neighborhood. Another tip-off was also that the listed package weight, according to UPS was 4 lbs, not the 40 lbs my oven should have weighed. This is an increasingly common type of scam – I found an online local newspaper article about it from several months ago and the UPS representative at my local customer service center said she had received four similar complaints in just one week, all relating to packages sent by Vineyard Vines.
