Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill

On 3/18/16 a person called asking for our copier model number and name of person they talked with. They asked if we needed toner or other services. We said no our copiers are under contract with another company. Then on 4/1/16 we received a $1,055.83 bill for toner we didn’t order or receive. We called the number provided on the invoice numerous times. We got a voicemail box that asked us to leave a message. We left a message with name and invoice number. Within minutes (maybe 3 tops) we received a return call from a "Tim Harris" (although I have read in other complaints he has used the name "Tim Stevens" stating that the invoice has already been "deleted from the system" over two weeks ago and that it was a "billing error" and that he would fax me a confirmation sheet which he then read me our fax number. When I questioned the male on the phone about how I had already looked up their scam…wait sorry "company" on the ScamPulse.com website and there were numerous complaints towards their company. He became angry and began to yell at me that he was NOT going to have this conversation with me and that the company I’m referring to is located in California and they are in Arizona. He then hung up on me. I did call back and left a message that I would be filing a complaint to the BBB. Again, we NEVER ordered any supplies from this company. THIS IS A PIRATE TONER SCAM DO NOT PAY YOUR BILL
