First received a fax that looked like local yellow page requesting verification of our business address and phone numbers. Sent back again thinking it was for our local yellow pages. Several months later started receiving faxes stating we owed $1188.00. We ignored the first few because we saw they were from Germany. Next fax came and we responded we were turning over to Attorney. …..Still waiting……This is a scam…..and we almost paid them!

Open Business Directories sends faxes making it look like they are actually the Yellow Pages. They want you to confirm your address so they can post it on their online directory at yellow-page-usa.com. They then send you a bill for $1188.00 for a one year contract. They aren’t located in the United States. There are 2 addresses on the invoice, one in Switzerland and one in Dubai. They will harass you and threaten you for payment trying to make you think they are legitimate. They will threaten to turn you in to the IRS. DO NOT FALL FOR IT. They are a scam and will try their best to intimidate you to paying them.

we received a fax with a logo very similar to the yellow pages. my newest staff member completed the form and returned it thinking he was just verifying our information. we then received a bill for $1188. we faxed and stated this was not our intention. after a while the fax was no longer in service. we received letters and fax saying we owed money or they will turn us over to collections. they even emailed. I told them I wasn’t paying and they said they would go the legal route. I’m still not paying but I’m concerned about my credit report.

Open Business Directory sent what appeared to be a Free Listing for Yellow Pages but claim it was a contract *** *** and *** ** ** has signed for a two year $1188/yr. I have requested a cancellation 3 times. They continue to send threatening letters saying our credit report may be in jeopardy. I checked online and when looked into by unpartial organization there haven’t been any lawsuits pending so don’t pay these people!!!
