Type of a scam Home Improvement

I had a sales person come to the door trying to talk me into getting a new furnace. He stated that it would cost $5,500, and that it would include free installation and duct cleaning. I did some research and their company never came up in a google search. They did have a website in which they direct me to which displays their business address with a supposed picture of their building or surrounding area. I looked up that address on google maps, and didn’t show any buildings or surrounding area that looks remotely like the picture they had on their website. I did more research and found and interesting website (https://www.davincivirtual.com/loc/us/new-york/buffalo-virtual-offices/facility…⇄ which rents virtual office addresses. I found it interesting that it was the exact same address and suite as theirs was. On top of that, when the sales person called me back, his phone service was from Seattle, and later on his boss called me and it showed from Ontario. I found that very strange seeing as the sales person told me this was a Buffalo based business. So needless to say, I turned down the offer.

The only reason why they didn’t get any money from me is because I didn’t go through with it!
