Type of a scam Tech Support

I was browsing on net when on my lab top froze and had this flashing message to call this number in order to reset my device. So called the number and spoke to Chris who told me my lab top would go dead in 45 minutes if i didn’t give him my credit card number so he could charge me for his services. he said the charge was $192 canadian. He then had me press ctrl alt esc keys which i could have done myself to reset my device, then had me install anti virus program which i could have done myself. Then i realised i had been scammed but it was too late. He already had my credit card #! I called my bank the next day to report this and had to cancel my current credit card. They issued a new credit card. Unfortunately the payment had already went through. He said he would send me a receipt by email but he never did. He said the case # was C284OT9L . Now I have to write an letter to my scotiabank trying to explain my case so i can be credited this amount. Why should i have to go through all this trouble when i was a victim!
