Received a call from "Meghan" but Caller ID listed Wenatchee, WA (509) 300-1315 saying they are getting listings for Alexa Echo customers in my region looking for my services. To Call 1-888-862-4794. I called that number and it sounded like a huge call center. Talked to Jasmine. She said they work with Amazon and can offer a special to get a listing thru Alexa at half price $239.88/yr or a trial membership of $19.99/month. To confifm the marketer’s call they ask for which fee you want to sign up for and want a credit card. I explained this voice message came thru a local cell phone # and I have never had to secure a marketer meeting with a credit card. Asked to talk to her supervisor. Michael Linderman got on line, explained it was not a scam and that they do computer dialing using a local number they buy. He gave me his personal # of 1-833-450-4307. I asked for his website. He said: Https://Onboarding-Alexa.com. After scrolling thru the 2 of 20 pages thru Google search for his website and it not pop up on first page, that is all I need to know. I asked if Amazon logo as partnering with them is on his site. He said they were in competition with Amazon’s own marketing. I did not give my credit card. If you can’t trust your potential businesses to be where they are supposed to be for a phone call, you don’t want to work with them anyway! I have never, with 21 yrs of business and a A+ consistent rating with BBB, ever had to give a credit card number to secure a marketing phone conference first. a supposed business where I didn’t get an email or some other correspondence first. Supposedly their call center is in Bocca Ratton, FL.
