Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill

Business to business fraud. "Donald Harper" called and said he wanted to send free samples of printer cartridges, I refused but he was very persistent and said there was no charge. He was asked over five times if there would be a charge for these samples and he repeatedly said there would not be. Finally agreed to the free samples and within minutes of getting off the phone recieved an invoice for 769.96 in my email. Called back and tried to cancel the order and he replied "sorry about that i will take care of it." It was not taken care of. We will not be paying this invoice, we did not receive the printer cartridges.
