Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill

A "repair bill notice" was received in the mail for repairs to a BMW for $12,914.75. On the reverse side was a "Vehicle Document Alert Notice" stating that multiple notices have been sent regarding the expiration of the factory warranty and issuing a strict deadline. I called the number listed and was directed to the "Loyalty Vehicle Protection Center", and then the "Vehicle Protection Department" and a woman named Jennifer answered the phone. I inquired to the name of the company and was informed that it is for Omega Auto Care. I asked to be removed from their mailing list. This is a blatant come on – a high pressure, scare tactic for the otherwise uninformed – to draw up "business" and rip people off.
