I received calls on my cell phone March 12 and March 13. from Ohio Credit Acceptance. The phone number in my caller ID was 844-456-2239 X 218 Michelle was the callers name. She called my mother also. She told me a had to make a payment to stop the process of police coming out to get me. She threatened to send police. I agreed to $50 payments. She wanted $154 a week. Then $100 a week. They threatened to arrest me. coming out to process me for court. After a hung up with her someone called from the Sheriffs Department in Cleveland OH. The phone number in my caller ID was 216-443-6000. I called the Sheriffs Department at 216-443-6000. I was told they don’t send Sheriffs out.They don’t have a case on me. I was referred to a Detective at Consumer Affairs.I sent $25 on a Pre-Paid Master Card. as they instructed.
