Type of a scam Sweepstakes/Lottery/Prizes

Received call from Officer Johnson at 9:29am this morning informing me that America Gaming Association has attempted to reach me to no avail. He said he was from The Consumer Affairs Fraud division who is in charge of making sure the winners of sweepstakes are notified timely to receive there winnings. He instructed me to call the American Gaming at (305) 722 3530 to verify that I am the person who won and they would get in touch with Officer Johnson after releasing the funds via internet. Officer Johnson called at 11:26 to confirm i had spoke with Mario Lopez from Gaming I responded I had. He stated he was going to review documents and call me back with instructions. Officer Johnson called at 1:28pm with instructions stating a 1099 would be included in a box along with a cashier check in the amount of $450,000 and I would have to get insurance costing $925 payable to Media Monopoly 1340 E. 6th st #623, Los Angeles 90021 as an overnight delivery and I would need to verify insurance policy and receipt to show the courier to be reimbursed when the courier comes to deliver the box between 10-11am tomorrow. As soon as I purchase the insurance money order I was to call Officer Johnson to inform of money having been sent to Media Monopoly. I researched the address given in Los Angeles and it appears its an empty building for lease with no owner information. I researched Media Monopoly and found it to be other than an insurance company. Luckily, I did s this research and decided not to follow through with these instruction. As the saying goes "if it feel to good to be true, most likely it isn’t. I feel this Officer should be looked into and forewarn others of this scam.
