Type of a scam Healthcare/Medicaid/Medicare

I stupidly went onto a website which I thought was for the healthcare reform insurance quotes today and entered my name, number, and zip code hoping for an honest quote on health insurance. Within seconds of pushing enter I received a call from a female who verified that she received my information and could help with insurance needs. After a very quick introduction she transferred me to a "specialist". I spoke with this guy a total of 56 minutes. Initially the guy was nice and quick speaking with an insurance quote that included monthly premium, deductibles, etc. Somewhere in his quick speaking he let me know that there would be a $125 enrollment fee but not to worry that all insurance companies do this but they don’t always tell you about and some just break it up over a year with your premiums. After he was done with his spill I then started to ask legitimate questions about comparisons and what will be covered, etc, and told him I would like to see a copy of the quote either by mail, email, or website. He proceeds to tell me that I cannot see a copy of the policy until I enroll. I questioned this and said, "so you are telling me that I cannot see what I am signing up for until I enroll and pay you the $125 fee". He said "yes that is correct". We exchanged other words, me basically telling him that I am no longer interested in his company, this doesn’t make sense for me to pay money and sign up for insurance that I cant even see what my benefits are. He proceeded to clearly get upset that I felt this way taking up for his company and excusing the fact that they may not advertise like BCBS but they are one of the greatest insurance companies around. I remained calm throughout the transaction yet he turned into a really rude person and basically ended with thank you for your assist, but I am not interested in your companies insurance. The guy never clearly stated the name of the insurance company he worked for but he did keep saying "HHI" referring to it as a group insurance carrier and that’s why they can offer better rates. After ending the conversation with this guy I received several more calls from another insurance specialist(Health Line One) ready to help. When I portrayed to them that I was not interested, please take me off of your call list, they hung up on me. So I am not sure which is more fraudulent, the website for obviously selling my information or the bogus insurance company reps? After receiving these awful calls I decided to call the 1800 number listed on the website to ask to be taken off of their call list and it is an insurance company, "Get Insured". I am telling them I do not want any more calls please take me off of your list and they have no idea what I am talking about. A guy originally answers the phone then connects me to a very nice girl who helps with customer service, she verbalizes that she is completely unaware that their number is listed as contact on this website and she will be filing a report to her manager. I am not always good at narrating so please if something is unclear let me know. I hope I didn’t give away enough personal information to destroy myself by speaking to these people and I hope that whatever they are trying to do, maybe they just wanted the $125, doubtful, but I hope with my information to you they are unable to scam other people.
