Type of a scam Online Purchase

I ordered a product online. I got one email saying they would send me another email once product was sent out. I haven’t got my item. Then I made several attempts to call the phone number, and I get a weird message, so I left several messages. I also emailed them and no answer. The email of the seller comes back to me as a failure., but the NTC email went through just no answer. I am not sure if it’s a scam, or like ebay where they let people sell through them. Regardless I am getting no answer. I reported to Paypal and have to give them a week to answer before I can escalate. I just don’t someone to order from here and end up with nothing accept lost money. Thank Goodness Paypal has protection on what you order using them. I hope you can find out if this is a scam and stop it if it is!
