Type of a scam Employment

I received a text message from someone saying they saw my Ziprecruiter account. I was told I had an interview lined up and to IM over skype of google hangouts. I added Travis.washington101 on skype and thus began the charade. The person gave me a bunch of copy pasted info from the company website online and then gave me a questionnaire, part of which asked about whether I was a military veteran. 20 minutes later, I was “hired”. Said to check back at 8am the next morning for info on my check to buy software and office supplies with. I checked back the next morning at 8am but didn’t get a response until 10am est. “Travis” says he is in Miami, FL but that doesn’t match the time zone if you ask me. Furthermore, he told me to respond to the job offer letter in my email which came from [email protected] Job supposedly pays $29/hr and I supposedly will receive a check in the mail tomorrow but I see where this is going. I will not be sending my drivers license or any other ID they have asked for. If you see scams like this avoid them!!
