We contracted with a company Southwestern Asphalt to re do our driveway. We paid $2700 in advance. All they did is make a mess and never came back to finish the job as promised the phone number we have for them is not in service.

Two men in truck approached my home and offered to coat driveway with oil based product. There was much discussion about quality of work and need for service. A price was quoted (quite high) and later reduced. No written contract – verbal agreement only. Within 1 hour, a different truck arrived and began working on project. It began to rain so project was d/c’d. However they left truck and are to return this noon. The partial job appears very shoddy – sand used to fill cracks; very thin black coating but no defect fill from product. A card give an address in Rexburg but google map shows an open field at that address; the city of Rexburg has no record of business or address. The business is not traceable on line nor is there any listing in Yellow pages or any other reference. I have not paid and will refuse to pay for service.
