I just received a call from a woman representing Northwest Recovery. I was told that I was a defendant in a court case for fraud, among other charges. It supposedly started with a pay day loan that I took out on May 26, 2011. The alleged loan was in the amount of $300. I was told that I needed to make payment arrangements or Northwest Recovery would be forwarding the account back to EP Processing LLC, the company that funded the loan. I told her that I did not recall applying for a payday loan during that time. She said that she would notate that I was disputing the account and that EP Processing would take me to court. I asked her to send paperwork to my current address while I conduct my own research and she refused to do so, stating that forwarding the account back to EP Processing was all that she could do and that they would do their own research and have me served. I asked her how they could do that without a current address and she could not answer that question.
