Type of a scam Phishing

Someone called me today from a number (862) 210-2884. They asked if it was ‘my name’ and I said yes. I’ve been waiting for a call from an unknown number, bad coincidence I suppose? He seemed startled that I said ‘yes’ and inquired about my natural gas from the actual company that provides my electric service (no gas). Knew it was something other than the call I was waiting for and immediately hung up. Hopefully that ‘yes’ scam isn’t true.
