I as contacted by email to be a mystery shopper for Nike products. There was a lot of detail in the email stating specific instructions and steps for conducting their survey. It was a lot of detail to report. I thought it was legit until I received a check for $1850. The payee name and address on the check is River *** *** *** *** * *** *** *** Fl 33130. I received the check via Priority Mail. The return address is Sarah Palmer 3321 Hodges Rd. Dryden Mi. 48428-0613.

I received text messages from 318-474-7297 to confirm I received the check. When I called the number, a man answered and would not state his name and did not speak well, and hung up on me. I texted the number asking to verify the amount on the check and the payee. He text back verifying Check amount for $2550 and from Sabadell United Bank. The amount was wrong but the bank was right.

I believe this is a scam and will not be cashing the check. Please advise if I should report elsewhere. Here is an email from them:
