Type of a scam Government Grant

For the last three days we have received eight scam calls. Every time my daughter or I would answer the phone would go dead. The last phone call was when my husband answered the phone. It was the number ***6 that called in. They stated that they were representing the NIH(National Institute of Health) and that they wanted to give us a government grant of $14,589.00, but that my husband need to call *** and asked for *** ***. Once my husband gave the banking and routing number, he was given some more instructions. It was to go to Wal-mart and purchase a gift certificate of three hundred dollars. My husband refused to do that. In broken English to yell at my husband. The plus is that because there was NO money in our checking account, so that they did NOT receive any type of money. Our bank has froze our account so that nothing will be held against us. I tried one of the numbers ***, it stated that this number was unable to receive calls and that it was in the Washington D.C. area.

Here are A** ** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** *** *** ** *** ** *** ***
