Type of a scam Employment

This company hired me and I worked remotely for nearly 3 months as a 1099 employee. The owner and I signed a contract and I was only paid for the first month of work. After that I, when I sent in the 2nd month’s invoice I was promised payment and many excuses were made. I worked another several weeks until I realized I was being scammed. I was out of 6 weeks of pay for work that I had done. Neither the CEO or senior staff member would respond to any of my correspondence after 5 weeks of not paying me. The job I held has been posted continually (even while I was working) on glassdoor.com. I believe they plan to scam again.
