Type of a scam Government Grant

I was called by cell phone and told that I was awarded a $9,200.00 dollar granted. I was told I could receive this grant by Checking Account, Debit Card or by Money Gram. I choose by Debit Card. The agent told me to go to Rite aide and stayed on the phone until i got there. She then told me i needed to purchase 10 ITUNE CARDS for registration. I did so and she told me to scratch and read the codes off each card. When finished she transferred me to the New York Fedral Bank Grants Dept. And I spoke with a male agent who said he was processing the money to my card and it would be complete in 10 minutes. I waited. He then hesitated and said there is a bank fee that has to be paid and the fee is $399.00. I told him i easnot going to pay another fee. He then said buy ITUNES CARDS. I told him no and i wanted my moneyntefunded, he then hung up. I calked back and spoke with another man. I told him I wasnot buying any more catds and i wanted a refund. He said i hadnot finished the registration. I told him i wasnt buying any more cards or paying anymore fees. He then started yelling. I told him that i was calling to report a fraud and skam. And I was also going to have my debit card cancelled and report i was a victim of a skam. The agents were all indian accent speaking people except 1 male whom souded Caucasian.
