Type of a scam Counterfeit Product

They show up on google as being apple support, furthermore when called they said they were part of apple and almost successfully got 300.00 out of me via a pre paid credit card. It didn’t sound right so before going through with it I called a local Apple Store and called the number they had given to me for apple’s tech support and as a result I didn’t purchase what they tried to scam me on, however they did access my computer remotely as they had me completely fooled. They informed me that that someone from Romania was remotely able to see everything that I did and stated that because I had backed up my phone and iPad to my computer that they were infected as well.
