Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
Someone is mailing checks from the zip code 95758, using our company name and address, via USPS Priority Mail, to recipients who are Craigs List posters. They then ask the recipient to sent money to them via Western Union. The checks are not being sent by our company, needless to say.
About 20 recipients sent checks to our address, and we have them if needed for prosecution. I do not know if any recipients have fallen for the scam and lost money. Our company has notified Craigs List and the Postal Service.
