Type of a scam Debt Collections

I received a message from a person who stated he was calling from a law firm regarding a debit, yet the name was not legible. The number on my caller ID was (678)257-2474, and the number left on the VM was (706)341-0076. I returned the call, the lady says I took out a loan for $500 in Year 2011, which NEVER HAPPENED ! She provided me with my social security number, and stated that I provided this company with the wrong bank account numbers so they were unable to withdraw funds, which is a major concern to me. She says they have filed papers with the courts to charge me with bank fraud. ?I have contacted Atlanta Police based on the address of the company per google, but was redirected to the sheriffs department in my county. I’m frustrated because the sheriffs department seems UNINTERESTED in this case. I have received no documents in the mail or otherwise, but I am determined to find these scammers!!!!
