Total money lost $150

Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill

I requested a magazine subscription from US Weekly with a card from another magazine. I received what I thought was the bill invoice and returned it with a check for the first installment of $*** on March 1, 2018. The next month, in April, I received the invoice showing the payment made and the one remaining. I sent the last check of $74.97. I have received nothing for my payment, so tried calling the company on the number listed on the "invoice" only to find you can not speak to anyone an left a message. It is now August 17, 2018 and I never received my magazines but the checks sent for payment sure did go through. It is a scam and you can not do anything to "resolve" the issue.

Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill

Received mail Jul 21, 2017 with no return address but "OFFICIAL BUSINESS, Penalty for Private Use" in large lettering and a postage mark with an eagle designed to look government-related. It contained a bill for Smithsonian Magazine saying, in large red text, "Thank You! Your Prompt Attention is Appreciated". In much smaller print at the bottom it said "This is an offer from an independent company, not a bill," but the communication is overwhelmingly deceptive. This company has no connection with the U.S. Government or with Smithsonian Magazine.

A search of your site shows that this is probably the same company as "Atlantic Publishers Group".
