Type of a scam Government Grant

I received a call from a man named John Patrick with an Indian accent. He informed me I was entitled to a government grant $14,566.00 He also offered me the application id # GT23165 and said the grant could be sent to me using my debit card number or my bank account number. I asked why a check could not be sent and he said that is not the way they do it. I asked where the money was coming from and he said it’s coming from Apple. He said to go to Walgreens and get an Apple card so that the funds could be deposited. I told him no.
