I was searching on changing FAA aircraft registration address change requirements due to a recent move.

Initially suspicious, but the website had elaborate functionality, lengthy information pages, disclosures (likely to avoid Federal prosecution), numerous outside Federal government links (that really have little or nothing to do with the FAA). The other legitimate online FAA services I have used are so archaic, that I found that a private entity providing a service and easier to use website seemed credible. After 5 weeks, I followed up with research about the "vendor" on BBB, and numerous complaints that actually had a response from this private entity justifying taking people’s money. Perhaps they may eventually actually provide some of the services claimed, and with COVID-19 delays in all business and government agencies leaving extensive delays in service and communication, lack of response is all too normal. Contact AOPA with any questions about private services to be trusted.

They charge $65 to renew aircraft registration. The same process is simpler and only $5 dollars through the FAA website. They are charging $60 to "handle FAA registration processing. Their company name and their website imply that they are a government agency. There is a disclaimer stating "National Aviation Center is NOT the FAA or the Federal Aviation Administration; we are a third party private agency that handles FAA Registration processing to the Federal Aviation Administration." but the overall look of the website and name of the company imply government affiliation.

Signed up for there service at 11pm, realized it was a bogus scam company. Called at 8:45 am next morning. They said they would cancel the order and I would receive an email. Email said bogus service was no refundable. Called and pretended to be new customer since they do not answer the support number. He said the CEO who is the person above him does not take calls. Service is a scam service, takes the money and will not return it. They appear to look like a government site and are not.
