Type of a scam Debt Collections

These scammers called my brother and in-law looking for me. I do not even have their home or cell phone numbers in my cell phone, so I have no idea where they got their information. They said they were from the law department of ‘national alliance services’. I called the number and the representative transferred me to the law department who said they were ‘national alliance group.’ I refused to identify myself, they hung up on me. They said they represent firms that are filing a suit against me.
