Type of a scam Online Purchase

I found Nad’s Aussies website online while looking for a Australian Shepherd puppy to buy. I couldn’t find any negative reviews about them so I sent my contact information to them through their contact us section. I received an email introducing himself as Matthew from Richmond, Va and telling me about the puppy I had inquired about with pictures and video of the dog. He also asked me to tell a little about myself and what type of environment the dog would be living in. After I returned the email with all the questions answered I received a email stating that they had a professional private shipper who makes all the arrangements and I needed to send my full name and address and nearest airport. I sent a email with that information. I then received a email that I had been accepted to purchase the dog and would need to send a Money Gram to Steward Jonhpual from Richmond, Va for $649.00 ($599.00 for dog and $50 door step delivery fee) and send a clear picture of the receipt. I sent the money through Money Gram and emailed a copy of the receipt. I then received a email from the shipping company (Pro Cargo Logistics) emailed from [email protected] to send them $1580.00 for shipping insurance through Money Gram to a Willie Dominique, address 7728 King Eider Dr. Henrico, Va 23231. The email also stated that I would receive 98% of the money back upon delivery of the dog. Money Gram stop the transaction and flagged it as fraud. I then received a text/phone call telling me (foreign accent) that I needed to cancel that Money Gram and send half of the total to two different people (Steward Jonhpual and Imani Terrance). I went to the store to cancel the Money Gram as I started to believe this was all just a scam. The Scammer (nad’s aussies) called again saying to trust him and that he was a family/Godly man and to just go to another Money Gram. Money Gram informed me that it was a fraud/scam and that they would return the $1580.00 back to me, but the other transaction unfortunately wouldn’t be refunded. The scammer called and tried to get me to only send half to show his good faith, I informed him that Money Gram denied the transaction because he was a fraud/scammer. I informed him that I would not be sending any money unless I had the dog in my hands, he hung up on me. Then texted me a few minutes later asking if I’d do a bank transfer. I said I’m not sending anything until I have the dog. I checked a scammer website (petscams.com) and found nadsaussies.com to be on the list.
