Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

I received an e-mail from a supposed employee from Nabisco asking if I was interested to work from home and would be paid a decent amount to keep up with scheduling and briefing. Well I knew right there that it was a scam but I figured I would waste their time and keep playing along. I had no idea just evil these people are. They sent me two checks, one for 1900$ and the other for 3600$. I was told to deposit the smaller check first and was asked when it clears to let him know. I also want to add that he manipulates his headers in his emails to make it look like its coming from nabisco when in reality it is coming from a personal gmail account.Anyway I told him first that the check bounced, he responded by saying how is that possible and that cannot be I deposited the check wrong, yeah I deposited the check wrong that he sent from god knows where. Anyway he went quiet and ignored my follow up email until I decided that the check cleared and their investigation came to a conclusion. He e-mailed me right away back and told me to withdraw 1900$ and buy 500$ worth of iTunes cards and the rest to be deposited to a wells fargo account, that I reported to well fargo for being a scamming account. Needless to say I am gonna play with a little longer and then just tell him that I’ve reported his evil self to the FTC, BBB, Wells Fargo, Fake check org.

The way this works is that the checks clear and they ask you to withdraw the money so you can send it to someone to buy the equipment and ship it to you. Well when you send them the real money after a week your bank realizes the money isn’t available and takes back the money from the account it was placed in, yours. Which means if the funds are not there to take you end up giving the bank it is owed.
