Type of a scam Online Purchase

I posted a Go Pro for sale on CL. The scammer contacted me wanting to purchase it at full asking price and then offered to add extra money for shipping. I thought the person was legitimate as they wanted to use PayPal and went to great lengths to explain everything to me and assure me they were making a payment. The scammer checked on me multiple times to verify if PayPal had updated me on the transaction. All the while, I was receiving messages from "PayPal" with VERY realistic text and images that what seemed a normal PayPal email would look like. I, however, missed that the email was off: "[email protected]". When I tried to click on the "ads" on the emails, they are just images. It wasn’t until I received an email stating I would be receiving my payment 2 days ago, that I realized something was off. I delved in the details to see it all really pointed to a scam. Now I am out $240 and a Go Pro. Hope this *** gets caught.
